The Future of Rebuilding Iraq

The success achieved in liberating the areas controlled by terrorist groups is exceptionally important achievement, but only represents the beginning of the long road to rebuilding Iraq.

The reconstruction of Iraq is long overdue. It will allow families to return home, businesses to function once more, hospitals and schools to operate essential services whilst provision of basic sanitation, electricity and water will again become normal.

TPG and Optima Partnership in Iraq will support the reconstruction of Iraq through the creation of a central coordinating body and the delivery of survey, clearance and assurance assets.

This approach brings both innovation and efficiency to the clearance of explosive threats in Iraq and provides an excellent opportunity for the Government of Iraq to forge ahead of its reconstruction activities.
